My heart aches when I look at you,
Knowing this love could never be.
Yet through the pain I see it's true,
You have become a part of me.
I close my eyes and you are there,
I hear your voice inside my mind.
It breaks my heart but I don't care,
You gave me what I could not find.
You are the reason I'm alive,
Nothing can hurt me anymore,
If this is love I will survive,
For you, the one who I adore.
I only want to be with you,
And hear you say "I love you too".

just my attempt to start writing again. not really sure what i should say about the poem though... not sure how good it is, not the kind of stuff i usually write, so comments would be apreciated. *shrug* keep in mind that when i write, it isnt nessesaraly specifically about anything or one.

Mmmm... that made me happy. Its so sweet and heartfelt. That is the same exact feeling I was trying to convey in my Lord of the Rings fanfic. :roll: I still can't believe I wrote that cheesy thing. Heh. This is beautiful though. I love your imagination and your capability to write from the heart. Its something a lot of us wish we had. Beautiful work, again m'friend. :+fav:
