Literature Text
Through the emptiness of my heart,
Echoes a haunting melody.
A song of pain and loneliness,
Composed before you set me free.
Despite the discord in my soul,
Or the dissonance of my mind,
Your heart has joined my own in song,
Our melodies no intertwined.
Somehow you saved me from myself,
With a ballad of love come true.
Two hearts in perfect harmony,
Your love for me and mine for you.
My broken hearted elegy,
Transformed into a serenade,
By music of the lover's song,
A melody which will not fade.
Echoes a haunting melody.
A song of pain and loneliness,
Composed before you set me free.
Despite the discord in my soul,
Or the dissonance of my mind,
Your heart has joined my own in song,
Our melodies no intertwined.
Somehow you saved me from myself,
With a ballad of love come true.
Two hearts in perfect harmony,
Your love for me and mine for you.
My broken hearted elegy,
Transformed into a serenade,
By music of the lover's song,
A melody which will not fade.

Turning Point
Look for the dawn which is yet to come, which lays ready behind the rolling hills,
The dawn which enlightens and which brings joy,
Know that no matter how dark the day has become, how black the sky is,
That the hills come closer with each passing second,
Wander freely, before the time has come, because there is only one chance,
One chance to explore, to live without care, to decide for yourself,
And know that whatever you may choose, that support rides along with it,
Know that anything is fair game, and that there is no wrong choice,
Know that your choice should reflect your passions, not others,
The dawn creeps ever closer, do not let it tak

Run.
Running
Running
Running
Nothing left to run on
Desperation
Survive
Keep running
Running
Running
Running
Fueled by desperation
Life
Shatters
Running
Running
Running
Pick up the pieces
Wait
Survive

With Every Beat
With every beat of your heart,
My breath gets a little bit shallower.
I could tell you how much I love you,
But you already know.
We met out in the cold, but in the least conventional sense of the word. It was supposed to be winter, but there wasn't a single drift of snow on the ground. The frozen brown dirt starred at us, mocking, proof of how equally barren our destined-to-be relationship would be. He introduced himself. I laughed. I didn't believe in love at first sight.
With every beat of your heart,
The moments start to slip away.
I could tell you how much I love you,
But you already don't love me back.
We never held hands, or stared

Uh... Last line of the second stanza.. Should it be now intertwined instead of no intertwined? Aside from that and the sudden confusion it cause, I your poem.
